Marko Vidmar was born in 1975 in Zagreb. He grew up in Sveta Nedelja where he lives today. He completed his high school studies at the Mathmatical Secondary School, after which he was accepted to the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Zagreb where he graduated in 2001. In 2002 he was employed by a construction company and participated in projects for highways construction and other infrastructural projects for the Republic of Croatia. Over the past four years he has been employed as the director of sales in a private firm that deals in traffic.
