My Testimony

They say that people approach God most easily when they are in trouble, and that is more or less my story. My first understanding of life as a child came during the war. It was a life of uncertainty in which going to school accompanied by the sounds of bullets and shells was an everyday occurrence. When I was six years old I became aware that life was transitory and neither my parents nor other people could protect me. Still, my mother taught me that God was above all things. And so my journey began. Later in life, when things got better, I decided to drift away. Like many young people, I followed my own path and only thought about God occasionally, for example when I had an exam to pass or a difficult situation to face. Although I had given up on God, he had not given up on me. Then something terrible happened: my mother’s illness. As they rolled her away toward the operating room, telling me she might not come back, I was desperate. I prayed to God for a new opportunity and in return I was ready to give up the life I had been currently living. I received that opportunity. Instead of three months (which had been the doctors’ prognosis) I got three more years to put right the mistakes in my relationship with her. In her final days I was searching for fulfilment and it came through the Holy Spirit. I met the One who Jesus left to be with us until the end of the world. He also sent me a wonderful husband and two beautiful children for whom I am especially grateful. One thing is clear: God is a Father who loves us, knows what we need and always gives us more than we ask for.

About Me

I was born in 1986 in Konjic, where I attended elementary and high school. Shortly after graduating from high school I moved to Sarajevo and worked in a marketing agency for a while. In Sarajevo I met my husband, Mario and we decided to move to Zagreb where we both found jobs. I worked for nine years in a travel agency as a sales representative, mentor and manager. In 2012 I began studying how to do business founded on biblical principles and a few years later, my husband and I decided to start our own businesses and work on passing on to others what we ourselves had learned about God’s principles in business. Today Mario has his own architectural practice and I own a small marketing and PR services company. Through our businesses we try to bring about change and witness to God’s love, goodness, and guidance.
