Mario Dučić was born in 1973 in Zagreb, Croatia to a Catholic family. After his first year of seminary at “Matija Vlačić Iljirk” in Zagreb he continued his studies the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Osijek where he completed his postgraduate studies with his dissertation on “Practical Christian Leadership- Understanding and Implementing Vision and Foundational Characteristic of Leadership”. He also completed the one- year leadership program for international students at Christ or the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas.
In 2012 he completed his doctoral studies in Practical Theology with a focus on leadership under Wagner Leadership Institute based in Phoenix, AZ; and in 2016 he completed a second doctorate at the Protestant Theological College “Mihael Starin” in Osijek with his dissertation on “A Biblical Understanding and Pastoral Approach to Financial Stewardship”.
Mario Dučić became pastor and president of Church of the Full Gospel in 2001 and does not focus solely on his vision for spiritual service and leadership in the city of Zagreb and Croatia, he has also raised up many leaders and initiated the founding of more than one community group along with the various ministries of Church of the Full Gospel with the goal of being effective in our community. He has also initiated many of the joint projects among protestant churches among which were “Croatia for Jesus” and “Days of Reformation”.
He is the vice-president of the non-profit organization “Spirit Life Ministries International (SLMI) located in Hermiston, OR. Besides its work in aiding the evangelical work in Croatia, SLMI also works as an umbrella organization for Spirit Life Biblical Institute. Mario Dučić is also the Croatian national leader for “Operation Christmas Child”, a project of the non-profit organization Samaritan’s Purse. He is married to Bonnie Dučić and the father of their four children.
