European Foursquare Conference

This year, Church of the Full Gospel had the honor of hosting the Fellowship of the European Foursquare Churches conference, as representatives of Croatia. The Fellowship includes 15 European countries.

The FEFC conference is an annual conference where ministers from churches that are part of the Foursquare denomination come together, sharing common values related to core Christian beliefs and supporting one another in ministry. This year’s conference was held from April 24th to 27th at Hotel Matija Gubec in Stubičke Toplice, with over 200 in  attendance.

This conference serves as an opportunity for ministers from different countries to connect and bond, for old friends and acquaintances to reunite and rejoice, to share experiences and strengthen one another. We are all members of one body, functioning as a single organism, and we need one another to lift each other up and be strengthened. Through the experiences of others, we can grow more easily and quickly than if we had to do everything on our own. In God’s kingdom, we complement one another — one person’s growth contributes to the growth of another, and in this way, by sharing experiences, challenges, and victories, we help each other grow much more than we would alone.

The program consisted of dynamic worship services focused on the direction God is leading all Foursquare churches in Europe during this season, as well as encouragement to persevere in the times ahead. Conference guests could participate in workshops on various topics useful for ministers and believers alike. There was also a women’s meeting and various professional gatherings. Among the keynote speakers were Ted Vail from the USA, President of the Foursquare Global Missions Team; his wife, Dawn Vail; Surekha Hulugalle, President of the Foursquare Church in England; Ewald Zelmer, Mission Director from Germany; Abby Edwards, missionary from the USA; Mario Dučić, Pastor of the Church of the Full Gospel and Regional Representative of the Foursquare Fellowship for Southeastern Europe; and Fernando Jimenez, President of the Foursquare Church in Spain.

The worship services were richly filled with personal and corporate prayer for Europe, the churches, and various ministries. As always, fellowship was at the heart of the event. A group trip to Kumrovec was organized, and a Croatian cultural evening featured a folkloric program and presentations introducing participants to the spiritual climate and the church in Croatia. The work of special ministries over the past year, such as the global youth ministry, was also presented. At the final Sunday service, there was a formal ceremony for the awarding of Foursquare licenses for preaching and church planting to members of the Church of the Full Gospel who completed the most recent training cycle and passed their interview.

Above all, the 2025 European Foursquare Conference was a time of fellowship — our relationships were strengthened, and we left encouraged, refreshed, and spiritually renewed. We were once again reminded that we are not alone in the mission and calling we carry, but are part of an international family united by a shared desire burning in all our hearts — to see God’s kingdom advance and grow in Europe!

Finally, we want to say how deeply honored and proud we are to have had the opportunity to represent our country and host members of our international Foursquare family on Croatian soil. We now look forward with anticipation to meeting again next year in Portugal!
