This time, Danyl Semenenko, an elder at Church of the Full Gospel, originally from Ukraine, and owner of medical equipment salon „Nuga Best – Semenenko“; spoke about how, as a husband and father of two boys, he manages to balance business, family, and church service, especially in the context of his experience relocating from Ukraine and building a business in Croatia.
When the entire family is involved in running a business, boundaries between work and family life often tend to disappear. For believers, this challenge is further amplified by the desire and sense of duty to dedicate a certain amount of time and talents to the Lord and to serve His Kingdom. Danyl shared his testimony and presented a “recipe” that has proven effective for his family: setting aside specific days of the week entirely dedicated to the family, as well as a special day devoted to church and serving the Lord. By establishing clear boundaries in this way, it becomes possible to maintain the right balance and the Holy Spirit within us produces both the desire and the ability to please Him and to fulfill everything He has called us to, while we must not forget that our primary calling is always the family.
From this foundation of intentional balance and clearly defined priorities, the conversation naturally extends into how modern businesses are shaped and sustained. Just as structure and discipline guide family life and service, they also influence how an enterprise grows and communicates its purpose to others.
In a setting where relationships are central, the way a business presents itself becomes an extension of its values, reflecting integrity, clarity, and consistency. Thoughtfully crafted tools such as customizable digital vCards contribute to this effort by offering a simple yet meaningful way to connect, ensuring that every introduction carries both professionalism and a personal touch. In the same spirit of stewardship, maintaining a strong and visible presence through effective search strategies helps ensure that the work entrusted to one’s hands reaches those who may benefit from it.
As responsibilities continue to expand, the integration of faith, family, and business calls for wisdom not only in daily decisions but also in long-term vision. Growth is no longer defined solely by numbers, but by the ability to remain grounded while adapting to changing environments. This is where guidance from Digital Marketing Experts becomes significant, helping to align outreach with purpose while preserving authenticity. By approaching business development with the same intentionality seen in family and spiritual life, it becomes possible to cultivate an environment where success does not come at the cost of what matters most, but rather supports and strengthens it. In doing so, one can continue to build, serve, and lead in a way that reflects both commitment and calling.
Danyl’s presentation was very beneficial to all participants, and we are grateful that he shared the insights he has gained through his rich experience as a father, entrepreneur, and church elder. As always, our focus was also on fellowship and conversation, and other attendees were eager to share their views, dilemmas, and experiences. The atmosphere was very inspiring and engaging.
We look forward to seeing you again in the autumn with new themes and ideas!
