Located about an hour from Zagreb, Zelena Dolina was the perfect place to slow down, enjoy nature, and simply spend time together.
The day was filled with good food, conversation, and lots of laughter as people grilled barbecue, played soccer and basketball, and enjoyed various outdoor games. The children ran around tirelessly, making the most of every opportunity to play, while the adults relaxed, talked, and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere.
One of the most memorable moments came later in the afternoon when our Filipino brothers and sisters organized Christian karaoke. Before long, a group of people gathered on the hill, singing, laughing, and dancing together. It was one of those spontaneous moments nobody planned, yet everyone genuinely enjoyed.
More than anything, the picnic was a beautiful reminder of how special it is to be part of a church family made up of people from different cultures and backgrounds, yet united in Christ. It was a simple but deeply meaningful day, and everyone returned home thankful for the time spent together.
